NEXUS worked with the architect during design to provide technical review of the architectural details. Site inspections were performed during construction to observe installation of building envelope materials.

 

Construction defects were found during inspections and the initial water infiltration tests, leading to the owner requesting water infiltration testing on approximately 1000 windows. After the air barrier was installed, NEXUS performed a whole building envelope air leakage test for compliance with the Seattle Energy Code.
