Dick Scobee Elementary School

The project is a new elementary school for the Auburn School District. This two-story building is the replacement of an existing elementary school. Our team offered full building enclosure commissioning services including window water penetration and air barrier testing

Once construction commenced, NEXUS performed site observation visits verifying installation of various critical enclosure elements related to the thermal/vapor/air barrier of the building and witnessed/performed final air barrier testing on the completed building. All observations and testing, including infrared thermography during air leakage testing, was photo-documented in written reports submitted to the client and contractor to ensure deficiencies were understood and corrected. Running logs of deficiencies and corrections accompany each report.
