Ten years ago, when NEXUS began, the idea behind our firm was simple:
Do the work the right way.
Build trust through expertise.
And surround ourselves with people who care deeply about what they do.
What we couldn’t fully appreciate at the time was just how much the people would come to define everything else.
Over the past decade, NEXUS has grown in size, in experience, and in the types of challenges we’re trusted to take on. What enabled this growth was building a team grounded in curiosity, integrity, and a genuine commitment to doing meaningful work.
The People Behind the Work
Every project we’ve been part of over the last 10 years carries the fingerprints of the people behind it. It is the specialists who dig into the details, the investigators who ask better questions, and the team members who show up consistently.
What makes NEXUS special is the technical expertise and the character, thoughtfulness, and accountability our people bring every day. Those qualities have been developed together over time, through shared challenges and shared wins.
Rooted in Place
As an extension of the team, our connection to the region we work in has always mattered. The environments, buildings, and communities are places our team lives in, explore, and care about.
That sense of place shapes how we approach our work. It’s why we take a long-term view. Why we focus on durability, performance, and stewardship. And why relationships matter as much as outcomes.
Looking Back and Forward
Reaching a 10-year milestone is an opportunity for us to pause and reflect as well as a moment to look ahead. We’re proud of what we’ve built so far and even more excited about where we’re going. We get to continue this journey alongside a team that continues to grow in skill, perspective, and leadership.
